(1634-1656) "was a renowned, seventeenth century Scots divine, steeped in Reformed/Puritan theology. His noted emphasis in preaching underscored the need for true believers to grow in grace. He was eminently used of God in his day, but was taken home to glory at the tender age of 22. Works of Rev.
