"Thy Maker is thy Husband."Isa 54.5
The cunning serpent may accuse,
Hell-furies threaten to devour,
That feeble faith may never fail,
Though grevious trials grow apace,
Trust, though, when in desertion dark,
His beams anon the clouds can rent,
Without the sun [the] mourning go,
Though fire and water he with skill
When sin's disorders heavy brings,
Still look to him with longing eyes,
Still hope for favour at his hand,
In cases hopeless-like, faint hopes
If providence the promise thwart,
Art thou a weakling, poor and faint,
Dread not thy foes that foil'd thee long,
When foes are mighty, many too,
'Tis hard to strive against an host,
